Hi team,

You likely noticed that we rec’d our practice schedule for the season. We will practice Mondays and Thursdays at Hazelden Park from 6:15-7:30. Practices are slotted to begin on May 15 and games May 20th (field condition pending).

Also, a final reminder to send any known absences for the summer season to integrate into our rotational absence schedule as soon as possible. We will dress 9 players for all regular season games, meaning two players will sit per game. We will do our best to accommodate your requests on a first come, first served basis.

Reminder this past Saturday was our final indoor session. We are so excited to move outdoors!!!

Hi United families,

We have a few more updates to share with you.

The OSC has secured some outdoor space for us (free of charge) to use while we wait for our official outdoor practices. On that latter, we continue to wait for the club to provide the outdoor practice schedule- at the coaches meeting earlier this week, they indicated we should hear over the weekend. As soon as we hear, we will be sure to pass along. We sincerely appreciate your patience.

As for upcoming practices, please see the dates and times below:
Sunday April 23: 11:00-12:00 Western Alumni Field (S2)
Sunday April 30: 11:00-12:00 Western Alumni Field (S1)
Saturday May 6: TBC

We have also registered to participate in the Tony Hunter Stratford cup on August 20th. This was possible thanks to DevLift, our team sponsor. More details to come regarding game times as they become available.

Reminder if you have planned vacation times over the summer to please let us know as we will do our best to consider these in our rotational game roster. Our draft game schedule for the season is expected to be published next weekend.

On April 22, the Oakridge Soccer Club (OSC) is hosting a Grassroots Player Development session, where player will rotate through 10 different skill and game stations. This will be similar to outdoor sessions that were hosted in the fall behind Oakridge, but on a grander scale. This day is organized by Andy Sheriff, Grassroots Coordinator and run in partnership with coaches and volunteers from the OSC.

It promises to be a great* day with lots of variety and even more fun!

Location: UWO Mustang Field
Date: Saturday April 22 (rain or shine)
Time: 12-1:30 for U8, U9, and U10

Each participant will receive a free t-shirt as well.

Please let us know by Wed April 5 whether or not your player will be participating by responding to this post or emailing directly.

We have had a few questions about spring/summer practice schedule. We expect to receive our day(s) and time(s) within the next two weeks. We will share and update our calendar on our Team Page as soon as we are provided this information.

Great news! The practice jerseys have arrived! We will have them on hand tomorrow for our exhibition game.

We have obtained samples of the outdoor uniforms for players to try or view to determine sizing. We will be onsite at 6 pm at BMO to begin sizing. If possible, please arrive early to confirm preferred sizing.
